How Long Does It Usually Take to Replace a Roof?
Our expert roofers can be done in as little as two days
It all depends on how big the roof is and how much work needs to be done. Sometimes the whole roof deck needs to be replaced due to wood rot — which can be caused by previous improper installation — and that will lengthen the duration of the project. Typically though it takes us about two to three days from tear off to final inspection.
What Exactly is a Drip Edge & Why is it So Important?
Your drip edge channels water away from your home and if it’s installed improperly — which happens a lot — it can have destructive consequences
Because there’s no code or training required when it comes to drip edge a lot of roofing companies and contractors get it wrong when installing them. Drip edges need to be installed a ½" from the roof deck otherwise water will travel up into your home and roof because of its cohesive and adhesive properties. Unfortunately, most roofing companies install the drip edge flush to the roof deck because they haven’t done their research and there isn’t any statute that requires them to.
